A Little About Me
I am a wanderer—at home in the wild terrains of the world and in the mysteries of spirit. I’ve long enjoyed crossing borders, meeting strangers who become friends, and stepping into landscapes that whisper different stories. Yet no adventure calls to me quite like my native Michigan. It was here, in her ancient glacial landscape, that I grew a rich inner life rooted in the wilds of the natural world. I draw deep inspiration from nature not only in my spiritual life, but also in my creative one. I am a painter and maker, a gardener and forager, a storyteller and deep listener, forever in awe of the rhythms unfolding just outside my door.
In the later chapters of my life, I awoke to the truth that my heart is mystical and my mind interspiritual. Although I now hold a reverence for the world’s religions, I spent much of my life not aligned with any of them. A mystical experience in 2002 set me on a journey to explore the great religions and wisdom traditions, and through both study and lived experience, I have come to believe there is a mysterious oneness at the heart of them all—each story offering a different passage there.
My path into becoming a spiritual companion reflects my desire to walk alongside others whose spiritual journey also wanders. I accompany seekers of many faith traditions—or none—with ease and respect, and I feel especially drawn to those who don’t quite fit within a single house of faith: those whose spirits feel orphaned by the religion of their origin, and those whose inner being roams freely, searching for home. To these souls I offer a gentle invitation: let us sit with mystery together, wander into the wild places of meaning, and discover where your heart belongs.

My practice sits on the ancestral, traditional and contemporary lands of the Ansihinaabeg - Three Fires Confederacy of Ojibwe, Odawa and Potawatomi peoples. I recognize Michigan's 12 federally recognized Native Nations, historic Indigenous communities in Michigan, Indigenous individuals and communities who live here now, and those who were forcibly removed from their homelands. In offering this land acknowledgement, I affirm Indigenous sovereignty, history and experiences.
